Caption short videos on your phone. Open a clip, paste the script or dictate it with your keyboard microphone, and Clip Captioner splits the words into readable two-line captions timed across the clip. Play it and tap once per caption to lock the timing to the speaker, or edit each caption's start, end and text. A readability report flags captions that flash by too fast or stay too long, lines that are too long and overlaps. Burn the captions into a new video in a news lower-third, bold pop, clean subtitle or word-highlight style, or download SRT and VTT files for YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. Import existing SRT/VTT files too. Projects save on your device with JSON backup; your videos never leave your device. No accounts, no uploads, no tracking.
